THE KAMAL ENGINEERING Pinch rolls comprise of non-reducing rolls that are used to redirect the travel of a Hot Rolling Mill Product and to provide tension for a downstream process. The pinch rolls perform their function without negatively effecting mill productivity or product quality. It is installed at various places in a rolling mill such as between the roughing mill and the intermediate mill, before and after the TMT Quenching Box to maintain the speed and tension of bars. It is driven through an AC / DC motor and consists of 2 Hi Gear Boxes, Solid Rolls with Cardan Shaft.

A Cantilever Type Pinch Roll has a set of rolls projected from a main body using a bridge type construction and the rolls are fixed at only one end of the machine.
